What seemed to be almost impossible in the afternoon became reality in the evening. At the WGI colorguard regional in Drachten, Beatrix Winterguard became European champion for the fifth time after having gained 3 points in competition since the prelims.

Slowly but surely we see an increase in the amount of alumni memberships of the Beatrix Alumni Organization. That’s great to see. Of course we aren’t there yet but it shows that we are on the right track.

With a mere 10 rehearsals and three ensembles to go this winter season is gradually reaching its end. The drumcorps summer is just around the corner, and we are looking forward to spending long days in sun or rain outside on the field.
